In this section I will interview people in my class to ask about there progress in genius hour

Here is a list of the people I interviewed

An interview with Molly Ryall

Me: So Molly, what will you be doing for genius hour?

Molly: Photography

Me: What type of photography? Will you be taking photos of nature?

Molly: Of course. I'm not taking pictures of humans destroying the earth.

Molly: Also I'm going to Arizona so I'm going to take a lot of my pictures in Arizona.

Me: What will you be using to take you're pictures.

Molly: I'm going to be using my phone and possibly a camera.

Me: Will you be taking any pictures here in windsor? Because I know that there are many beautiful places here.

Molly: Yes because there is many animals here too.

Me: Thank you for this interview. Good luck on you're project.

An interview with Adam Abdu

Me: So Adam, What will you be doing for genius hour

Adam: I'm going to be trying to find a constelation in the sky. Or I would like to try to find Mars.

Me: What would the learning experience be from this project?

Adam: For example if I find the big dipper I will know where the north star will be so I know where I am in the dark.

Me: I see what you mean but how will you demostrate your learning in the end?

Adam: I will take a picture or video of me trying to find it. And if I find it I will explain how I found it

Me: Do you think you have enough time to find this. I'm worried that the big dipper may only appear on a certain day.

Adam: That's what I'm also worried about. Im afraid that there won't be a clear night to look up. And even if I do I might not have the right tool to look the constilation.

Me: Do you have a back-up plan incase you can't find it?

Adam: I will try t find mars or a plnet and if that doesn't work I always have option C.

Me: What's option C?

Adam: Option C is to learn something new about astronomy.

An interview with Mary Kiraly

Me: So Mary what will you be doing for your genius hour project.

Mary: I will be learning sign language.

Me: How will you be learning sign language

Mary: I will be using apps,websites and YouTube.

Me: Do you forsee any problems down the road?

Mary: Yes because it will be hard to memorize and the websites may not have all the informtion I need.

Me: And how will you solve these problems.

Mary: I will solve the problems with repetition and doing more research so I can find a better webite.

Me: How's it going so far?

Mary:It's going pretty good.

Me: Well good luck on you're project

An Interview with Boris Lazendic

Me: So what will you be doing for you're genius hour?

Boris: I will be making a LED sign.

Me: What motivated you to decide this topic.

Boris: Because I want a decoration to put up on my wall.

Me: Won't this project be hard because I know that it's pretty hard to do wiring for LED's?

Boris: No because I am just going to buy a strip and lay it around the sign.

Me:What materials will you use to create this sign and what will your sign say?

Boris: To create this sign I will use plywood, wood, plexiglass, LED's and a saw. The sign will have my name on it.
